Position overview

You will assist our Software Development experts in ensuring TRG's critical products are functioning properly while getting exposed to our internal projects in software development.

Note: This is an unpaid internship intended for learning and academic development. The intern will work under supervision, receive technical guidance, and gain hands-on experience in software development and system integration.

Working location: TRG International Office | 145-147 Nguyen Co Thach Street, An Khanh Ward, HCMC (Hybrid)

Job Description

• Collaborate with the team to design, develop, and implement a custom tool for seamless integration with third-party systems via REST API and SOAP.

• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code in C# and JavaScript to build backend and frontend components.

• Develop user interfaces using standard HTML, ensuring responsive and accessible design.

• Work with SQL databases to handle data storage, querying, and management for the integration tool.

• Test and debug the tool to ensure reliability, performance, and security.

• Assist in documenting the tool's architecture, APIs, and integration workflows.

• Troubleshoot integration issues and optimize the tool for better efficiency.

Internship Requirements

1. Education & Background

• Student in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field

• Available to commit to the internship for the agreed duration and schedule (part-time or full-time, as applicable)

2. Technical Knowledge (Foundational Level Expected)

• Basic to intermediate knowledge of C# and JavaScript

• Understanding of HTML and basic responsive web design principles

• Fundamental knowledge of SQL and relational databases (queries, tables, basic joins)

• Basic understanding of REST APIs (SOAP knowledge is a plus, but not mandatory)

3. Development & Learning Skills

• Willingness to learn and work hands-on with API integrations and third-party systems

• Ability to write clean, readable, and maintainable code with guidance

• Basic understanding of debugging and testing concepts

• Interest in backend–frontend interaction and system integration

4. Soft Skills & Attitude

• Strong learning mindset and curiosity about software development

• Ability to follow instructions and ask questions when unclear

• Good teamwork and communication skills

• Responsible, detail-oriented, and open to feedback
