Internship Program

Our internship programs are based around getting our interns to learn and experience as much as possible and getting them integrated into the way we do business. Because of this, it is still rather difficult for us to have internships that are less than 8 weeks / 2 months, as this simply does not allow for the intern to properly adjust and learn. We also find that short term interns more often than not greatly regret only being able to do a short internship and many actually extend their internships.

Studysea is a Danish agency that has helped Danish, and international students in Denmark, go abroad for studies and internships since 2013. We have been partnered with Studysea since 2015 and have enjoyed hosting the great interns coming out of Denmark.

 

Studysea helps with all aspects of interns travel and stay. From estimated budget for the trip to getting you a visa, and even when you land in Vietnam they provide you with useful information to help you get settled in, set up weekly dinners with other interns from Denmark to help you get a social circle and are always ready to answer any questions you might have.

TRG work proactively and closely with InterVietnam and we regularly discuss intern’s progress to ensure a successful outcome for all.

InternVietnam has been helping students study abroad in Vietnam since 2018 and have been in the business since 2007, where they started out by helping students go to China for their studies.

TRG first came in contact with InternVietnam in 2017 when our CEO,  Rick was hosting and speaking at a British Chamber of Commerce event. We hit it off well and knew we wanted to partner with InternVietnam and we hosted our first interns from them in 2019, with great success.

We appear to have been one of the largest employers of RMIT students and many of the interns we took in have risen to become our senior managers or full time staff.

Since the start of RMIT in Vietnam, TRG has taken both interns and graduate-entry students from RMIT and helped them kickstart their careers. We helped establish RMIT’s internship program back in the day (we even became the poster child too) and have taken in either interns or graduates or both from literally every graduating year since the very first. We’ve had more than our share of RMIT Presidents award students, in most cases, they were awarded that after they had been selected by TRG.

Over the years, we appear to have been one of the largest employers of RMIT students and many of the interns we took in have risen through TRG to become senior managers or full-time staff. Many more have continued their career journey beyond TRG and now hold senior positions at many other IT companies and some even returned to RMIT as faculty.

Our CEO, Rick Yvanovich is a regular guest speaker at RMIT Vietnam covering a wide range of topics. Rick is currently the Chairman of the Industry Advisory Committee, RMIT Vietnam and a member of the School Advisory Committee for the School of Business IT and Logistics, RMIT Melbourne. TRG regularly engages with both projects and authentic assessments too.

  • TRG has for many years worked with various universities by providing projects and case studies for their students, to give them a real-world problem to tackle.

    We provide students with feedback on assignments detailing what we found good and bad, as well as the opportunity for their work to be used by our company. This comes with the added benefit of supporting the brand of your school, and by getting mentions of your students’ work on our digital channels.

    TRG’s CEO Rick Yvanovich, is also an avid public speaker and give lectures and workshops on a variety of topics such as Talent, Human Resources, Accounting, Project Management, Leadership Development, Coaching, inbound marketing and more. A lecture from Rick is a chance for you students to gain knowledge from a man who has more than 29 years of experience of working in Vietnam and has been and is, part of a multitude of big projects.
