• How to apply for an internship

   

  There are 4 steps to applying directly for an internship at TRG:

  • Find the internship you want to apply for and apply. You can find all the available internships here.
  • We send you some compulsory assessments. You must complete the entire assessments to be considered for an interview. Why we do this? for several reasons:
    1. It’s one of the solutions from TRG Talent
    2. It’ll tell you all about yourself and also tell us all about you.
    3. To us it’s our instruction manual to help you be successful at TRG
    4. Shhh we won’t tell on you … we know many people apply just to do this assessment, FYI it
       would cost you about US$ 350 if you bought it for yourself!
  • We schedule an interview with you, sometimes only the one, where you get the opportunity to win an internship or not.
  • If we think you are a good fit we may even give you an immediate verbal offer!

   

  If you apply through one of our partners the steps are very similar, however, the agency will handle or help you with everything surrounding your internships, such as the visa process and accommodation.   • Get in contact with the partner agency and tell them what kind of internship you are looking for.
  • Agency sets up communications between you and TRG.

• Can I apply for internship on-site?

  We are always ready to get face to face with potential interns and current students and are always on the lookout for our next generation of interns.

• What qualifications TRG is looking for an intern?

  As such we look for interns that can work independently, who are not afraid to ask questions and have the ability to reflect upon and learn from both successes and failures. You are given a lot of wiggle room at TRG, we will not be hovering over your shoulder to see how you are doing or if you are working constantly. This trust comes with a price though. We expect you to be able to work for yourself and ask questions if you are unsure about how to perform the task. Of course, we will help you in any way we can but no one will hold your hand, meaning it is your responsibility to get your tasks done in a proper and timely manner, and your responsibility to obtain any additional information you feel you need to complete your tasks.

  At TRG we practice Kaizen. This means that we believe everything can be improved and that every small improvement is worth making. Because of this, we expect you to be able to critically think about the tasks you are given and reflect upon the procedure for that task. If you see a better way to do the task or find areas of the procedure lacking, we expect you to bring this up to help continually improve the business.

• How does TRG manage the intern while we're working virtually?

  It depends on you. TRG is not managing people by their working hours. So, you can schedule your own working hours that fit your schedule. We have a "tasks ticket board", in that, our task creators will create the task, and the Interns will choose the task they want to do, in each task there will be deadline & progress, therefore, the Intern will know how much time they should spend to complete it. During the process of doing the task, our task creator will catch up with the Intern to see whether they need help or not. 

• If I choose to work virtual but after that, I want to come to the office, is it possible?

  Yes, we call it a Hybrid Internship, a mix between the Physical & the Virtual Internship.

• How I'm I going to receive the training when I'm working virtually?

  Just like other online training courses, we create Internal online training courses as well. And we have a training platform, which calls >span class="TextRun BCX0 SCXW197125903" lang="EN-US" xml:lang="EN-US" data-contrast="auto">, not only Internal training, we do provide some training on external resources as well (ex: Hubspot courses, HRM courses, Infor training courses, etc.,)

• What are the soft skills TRG needs in an Interns?

  Just like other online training courses, we create Internal online training courses as well. And we have a training platform, which calls >span class="TextRun BCX0 SCXW197125903" lang="EN-US" xml:lang="EN-US" data-contrast="auto">, not only Internal training, we do provide some training on external resources as well (ex: Hubspot courses, HRM courses, Infor training courses, etc.,)

• What's the duration of the internship?

  TRG offers virtual and non-virtual internships with a minimum of 2-month lengths for people around the world during the situation of the pandemic. While 3 months is the most common choice, there’s no upper limit for internship length.

  Our Interns have the flexibility to choose a Part/Full-Time Internship. You will not just gain insights into your future career but many benefits of working in a diverse environment.
