Guest Experience Manager (PJ's Coffee)

ABOUT THE ROLE
As Guest Experience Manager, you are the backbone of our daily operations. You will lead a team of baristas to deliver an exceptional guest experience, uphold PJ's service standards, and keep the store running smoothly - from inventory and waste control to events and team development. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who loves coffee culture and thrives in a fast-moving, people-first environment.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Support daily store operations and ensure the café is ready for service
Lead and assist baristas during your shift
Deliver friendly and professional customer service
Help resolve customer concerns and ensure a positive experience
Monitor stock levels and report replenishment needs
Assist with inventory counts and daily reporting
Support training and onboarding of new team members
Maintain cleanliness, food safety, and hygiene standards
Assist with in-store promotions and community events when required
REQUIREMENTS
At least 6 months of experience in a café, coffee shop, or F&B environment
Previous experience as a senior barista or shift leader is a plus
Basic knowledge of espresso preparation and milk steaming
Positive attitude and customer-focused mindset
Good communication and teamwork skills
Comfortable with basic inventory tracking and simple reports
Able to work flexible shifts, including weekends and public holidays
Basic English communication is an advantage
