Overview
We’re looking for a proactive and technically skilled IT Support Specialist to join our team. This role is ideal for someone with 1–3 years of experience in IT support, who is confident working with internal users and providing external client support as needed. You will manage daily support operations, maintain IT infrastructure, and assist in systems administration, with the opportunity to grow your skills in networking, databases, and cloud technologies.
Key Responsibilities
🛠 Technical Support
- Provide first- and second-line technical support to internal staff and external clients (on-site and remote).
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network-related issues (PCs, printers, email, VPN, etc.).
- Resolve support tickets in a timely manner and ensure proper documentation of solutions.
- Guide users on best practices and basic training on IT systems and tools.
🌐 Network & Systems Administration
- Monitor and maintain local and remote network environments (LAN, VPN, routers, firewalls).
- Assist with configuration, security, and performance tuning of networking equipment.
- Administer user accounts, permissions, and file access on internal systems.
- Assist in applying internal security controls (e.g., EDR, MFA, backup policies)
- Monitor antivirus logs, security alerts, and patch management.
🗄 Database Support
- Perform basic database administration: user access, backup, and restore tasks.
- Assist with query analysis and performance troubleshooting.
- Support integration of internal tools with SQL-based systems.
☁ 📋 Documentation & Inventory
- Maintain IT documentation, SOPs, and asset inventory (hardware/software).
- Support internal and external audits by preparing IT reports and evidence.
Qualifications
✅ Required
- 1–3 years of experience in IT support or system/network administration.
- Strong knowledge of networking (TCP/IP, DNS, VPN, firewalls).
- Experience working with Windows OS, Microsoft 365, and basic server operations.
- Hands-on with SQL databases (querying, permissions, maintenance tasks).
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
- Fluency in English is essential; proficiency in Vietnamese is an advantage.
💡 Preferred / Advantage
- Knowledge or experience with cloud platforms (Microsoft Azure or AWS) is an advantage.
- Familiarity with ITSM tools (Freshdesk, Jira, etc.).
- Basic scripting (PowerShell, Bash, Python) for automation is a plus.
- Certifications like CompTIA Network+, CCNA, Microsoft or AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner are a bonus.
