Position overview

Researching Financial Reporting / Analytical Analysis / Business Intelligence tools available in the Global Marketplace.

You will work directly with experts in BI to gather and analyse information, formulate and test hypotheses, and develop and communicate recommendations.

You’ll gain new skills and build on the strengths you bring to the firm. Business Analysts Interns receive exceptional training as well as frequent coaching and mentoring from colleagues on their teams.

What does a successful Business Analysts Intern look like?

Researching the global marketplace for software solutions to identify business opportunities.

Researching the different offerings provided – also need to evaluate at a high level

  • Feature list    
  • Size of their market    
  • Training offerings (this is to evaluate the ease of skills transfers)    
  • Skills required to implement the product    
  • Support offerings    
  • Pricing if publicly available without going through a bidding process

You will develop a comparative feature list that we can use to analyse the different capabilities of the different product sets. This will need to be produced in an excel spreadsheet format, together with presentations on their different offerings.

  • Participation in team reviews of analysis to provide additional insights and perspectives on analysis
  • Fulfillment of various routine and ad-hoc reporting requests as needed
  • Various small projects and process assistance as needed

  • Aware of reporting, analytical and query tools such as SQL , SAS, PowerBI, MSBI, R, Python, SSRS, Tableau
