Position overview
With the increased adoption of cloud-based solutions in recent years, the demand for an experienced Cloud Engineering is now higher than ever. As a provider of many cloud software and services, TRG is always on a lookout for dedicated, knowledgeable, and skilful candidates for the Cloud Engineer position like you.
You are in charge of managing multiple cloud accounts, developing and implementing policies for the use of cloud services, managing requests for new technology, establishing a secure cloud environment, and ensuring appropriate availability of services.
You have high attention to details, great strategic thinking and negotiation skills to work alongside our internal IT team, clients and cloud vendors.
What does a successful Cloud Engineer look like?
Manage, monitor, maintain Windows Services and Windows server
- Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, IIS, CA, group policies, security setup, permission granting, etc.
- Ensure the operation of the Windows desktop is not interrupted or interfering with the long-running functionality for users
Ensure business continuity and minimal downtime when disaster strikes with effective High Availability and Disaster Recovery solutions.
- Network - network design and security, load balancing, failover, firewall policies
- Database - installation, maintenance, database analysis, optimisation, backup, backup testing
- Application - installation, setup, troubleshooting
Provide safe, secure cloud environment and services for clients
- Deploy, manage, operate, and optimise highly secure, high-performing systems on AWS
- Migrate existing applications to AWS
- Manage cloud accounts, optimise costs for cloud deployments
- Support and respond to customer queries related to cloud-based applications

What you need
